عالى جناب ناوانتيم پيلى، كميسر عالى حقوق بشر ملل متحد
با درد و اندوه فراوان آگاه شده‌ايم كه ماموران جمهورى اسلامى در فاصله‌ى ٢٠ تا ٢٧ دى ماه ١٣٨٧ گورهاى فردى و جمعى گلزار خاوران را ويران ساخته‌اند و سپس با ريختن خاك نرم درسطح زمينِ صاف گشته، به درخت كارى در اين تنها گورستان شناخته‌‌شده جان‌باختگان كشتار بزرگ تابستان١٣٦٧ و نيز ديگرانديشانى كه پيش از آن تاريخ به دست آمران و عاملان جمهورى اسلامى كشته‌شده‌اند، برآمده اند.
ما از شما مى‌خواهيم كه با استفاده از كليه‌ى اختيارت و امكان‌ت‌تان از ويرانى و نابودى اين گورستان كه سند جنايتى بزرگ است و نماد حافظه‌ى تاريخی مردم ایران، به فوريت پيشگيرى كنيد.

With deep disbelief and disdain we have become aware that the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran have undertaken the destruction of Khavaran Cemetery, the only known site of mass and individual graves of the victims of the Great Massacre of political prisoners in the summer of 1988 and other non- Moslem dissidents executed in Iran through out the Seventies.
I beg your honor to urgently take action demanding the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran to immediately stop this barbaric operation.
The destruction of Khavaran is tantamount to the eradication of an important material evidence of a historic crime.

I stongly support your cause in writing to the United Nations Commissioner on Human Rights in exposing the criminal acts of the Islamic Government of Iran by destroying the graveyards of thousands of political and non political prisoners that were executed in the summer of 1988 in Iran. This barbaric act has to be stopped and the responsible officials of the Islamic Government of Iran should be brought before the International Court of Justice for their inhuman acts of genocide against the population of Iran. |

نبض خاوران نه در یک مکان که در سراسر خاک این وطن می تپد. خاک را ویران می کنید اما تاریخ را نه شما که حتی اگر خدایتان هم ظهور کند، نمی تواند ویرانش کند. سراسر ایران خاوران است که در قلب جوان فرزندانش می خروشد. با تاریخ واین خیل جوان چه می کنید؟ شما خاوران را ویران نکردید بلکه قدمی دیگر در جهت ویرانی خود برداشتید! باشد تا سیلی تاریخ مرگتان را به گوش جهانیان برساند.
