هنگام سخنرانی آقای احمدی نژاد درمجمع عمومی سازمان ملل متحد اجلاس را ترک کنيد

عاليجنابان،
در هفته سوم سپتامبر شما و یا نمايندگان شما برای نمايندگی مردم خود در شصت و چهارمين مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل متحد در نيويورک حضور خواهيد داشت. در همين اجلاس شخصی حضور خواهد يافت که مردم ايران را نمايندگی نمی کند. آقای محمود احمدی نژاد در دور دوم ریاست جمهوری خود تنها به موجب تقلب گسترده انتخاباتی ودر پی آن کودتايی سازمان یافته و هماهنگ شده توسط آيت الله خامنه ای، رهبری که چون احمدی نژاد نماينده واقعی خواست ملت ايران نيست، به قدرت رسيد. در ۱۲ ژوئن، میلیون ها ايرانی برای انتخاب رئيس جمهور بعدی کشور خود درپای صندوق های انتخاباتی تنها امکان رای دادن به چهار نفری را داشتند که شورای نگهبان پيشتر دستچين کرده بود . با اينهمه برنده ادعایی انتخابات آقای احمدی نژاد کسی نيست که منتخب مردم ايران بوده باشد و به همين دليل مردم ما پس از آگاهی به اينکه رای آنها ربوده شده است به خيابانها سرازير شدند تا رای خود را پس بگيرند.
در پاسخ به اين خواست گروه های فشار و نيروهای امنيتی به تظاهر کنندگان مسالمت جو وحشيانه حمله کرده ، دهها نفر را به گلوله بسته و تعداد کثيری را مجروح کردند. بسياری بيشتر هم دستگيرو به زندانها و ديگر بازداشتگاهها منتقل شدند و در آنجا تحت شکنجه های وحشیانه، از جمله تجاوز به عنف مردان و زنان، قرار گرفتند. اين واقعيت از طرف ديگر نامزدهای انتخابات رياست جمهوری ونهادهای حقوق بشری معتبر و سازمان عفو بين الملل نيز تاييد شده است. بيش از اين عده ای از بازداشت شدگان را مجبور ساختند تا خود را مقابل دوربين تلويزيون های دولتی مقصر قلمداد کرده و به جرايم ناکرده ای "اعتراف" کنند که حتی طبق قوانین ناعادلانه کشور هم جرم محسوب نمی شوند.
به منظور آرامش اوضاع و پیدا کردن راه حل های متمدنانه و مسالمت آمیز برای خروج از بحران اپوزيسيون رهيافت های متعددی را پيشنهاد نمود، از جمله :
۱. تشکيل يک کميته حقيقت ياب برای بررسی اقدامات غير قانونی پيش و حين انتخابات با ترکيب: سه نفر از نمايندگان روحانيت معتبر، چهار نفر به عنوان نمایندگان نامزدهای رياست جمهوری، یک فرد بی طرف از وزارت کشور، یک نفر با همین شرایط از طرف شورای نگهبان و يک حقوقدان دانشگاهی و قاضی بی طرف با معرفی کانون وکلا و نهادهای قضايی کشور.
۲. رئيس جمهور اسبق حجت الا سلام محمد خاتمى برای تاييد آرای مردم در انتخابات دوازدهم ژوئن و پاسخ به مشروعيت دولت خواستار برگزاری رفراند وم شد. بالاترين مقام رهبری، آیت الله خامنه ای، به اين ايده با استهزا برخورد کرد.
۳. حجت الاسلام مهدی کروبی ، رئیس سابق مجلس و یکی از چهار نامزد ریاست جمهوری، راه حل ساده و آسانی ارائه نمود: او پيشنهاد نمود که اجازه داده شود تا یک روز هواداران دولت و روزی ديگر طرفداران جنبش سبز به خيابان بيايند و حمایت خود را از نامزدهای مورد نظرشان به شیوه ای مسالمت آمیز نشان دهند و ايرانيان و مردم جهان ببينند که کدام يک از نامزدهای انتخاباتی از حمايت بيشترمردم برخورداربوده است. شگفت آور اين است که دولت مدعی داشتن 67 ٪ از آرا، با برخورداری از تمامی ابزار بسيج طرفدارانش، اين راه حل را رد کرد.
در تقابل کامل با همه این راه حل های مسالمت آمیز دولت تصمیم گرفت که با شيوه های وحشیانه تظاهرات مسالمت آمیز مردم را سرکوب کند. از ميان دهها نفری که به قتل رسيده اند تا کنون ۶۹ نفر شناسایی شده اند. صدها نفر از معترضان هم به زندان افتادند، آنجا که زندانيان حتی بر اساس گزارش های دولتی تحت آنچنان شکنجه های بی رحمانه ای قرار گرفتند که در مواردی زير شکنجه جان باختند. در ميان اين قربانيان حتی نام فرزند يکی از همراهان رهبر جمهوری اسلامی ديده می شود.
مطابق نامه ای که حجت الاسلام کروبی نوشته و منتشر کرده است برخی از مقامات عالی رتبه دولت به تجاوز گسترده به زنان و دختران جوان و مردان اذعان نموده اند.
با توجه به موارد فوق :
• ما مصرانه از شما می خواهيم در حمايت از مردم ايران هنگام سخنرانی آقای احمدی نژاد درمجمع عمومی سازمان ملل متحد اجلاس را ترک کنيد. مردم ایران نظاره گر شما خواهند بود!
• ما تقاضا داریم، نپذيريد که خون همميهنان ما که جانشان را برای دموکراسی و آزادی فدا کردند به عبث تلف شده باشد. به مردم ايران اعلام کنيد که در تلاش هایشان برای نیل به آزادی و استقلال از حمايت جامعه جهانی برخوردار خواهند بود!
• ما از شما می خواهيم، اجازه ندهيد که اعلامیه جهانی حقوق بشر، این سند ارزشمند که در آن هر انسان از برابری حقوق و حرمت برخوردار است، و ملت شما از امضا کنندگان آن است، با حضورتان هنگام سخنرانی آقای احمدی نژاد خوار شود!
ملت ایران شایسته زندگی بهتری است!

Your Excellency,
In the third week of September, you or your representative will be heading to New York to represent your people in the 64th annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly. There shall, however, be one person among the participants, who does not represent the people in his country, Iran.
Mr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won his second presidential term by virtue of a totally rigged election and the subsequent coup d’état organized and orchestrated by the similarly unrepresentative leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei.
On June 12, millions of Iranians headed to the polls to elect their next president in an election with only four candidates, who had been handpicked by the Guardian Council. By all accounts, the alleged winner – Mr. Ahmadinejad - was not the one the people of Iran had voted for. Noticing that their vote had been hijacked, the people took to the streets to reclaim it. In response, the vigilante groups and the security forces brutally attacked the peaceful demonstrators and opened fire, killing tens of people and injuring many more. Many more were arrested and taken to prisons and other detention centers where they were subjected to barbaric torture, including rape of men and women as confirmed by other presidential candidates as well as by the internationally renowned human rights organization, Amnesty International. A number of them were forced to incriminate themselves in front of TV cameras by “confessing” to crimes they had not committed or to actions that are not crimes even under the unfair laws of the country.
In order to calm the situation and find a civilized peaceful way out of the crisis, the opposition has offered several solutions, including:
1. The establishment of a fact-finding committee to examine the illegal measures and procedures in force prior to and during the election, composed of three representatives of prominent religious leaders, one representative of each of the four presidential candidates, one impartial representative each of the Interior Ministry and the Guardian Council, and one academic jurist and judge nominated by the Bar Association and the judicial bodies. This was initially accepted by the Guardian Council, but later rejected by the government.
2. The former president Hojataleslam Mohammad Khatami called for a referendum, through which the people would pass their judgment on the 12 June election. The Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei derided the idea.
3. Hojatoleslam Mehdi Karrubi, a former Speaker of Parliament and one of the four presidential candidates, offered a simple and easy solution: Let the Government allocate one day to its supporters and one day to the Green Movement supporters each, to come out on the streets and demonstrate their support for their candidates in a peaceful manner; thereby Iranians and the people of the world see who commanded more support among the people. Amazingly a government that claims to have won 67% of votes and has all the means to mobilize its supporters to the best of its ability rejected this solution too.
In total contrast to all these peaceful solutions, the government decided to brutally crush the people’s peaceful protests. Tens of people were killed, So far at least 69 victims have been identified. Hundreds of protesters were taken to prisons where, even according to government reports, they were severely tortured, so viciously that resulted in several more deaths; the son of one associate of the Supreme Leader was among them.
According to the letter written by Hojatoleslam Karrubi, some of the high-ranking officials of the government have acknowledged the widespread raping of young women and men in prisons.
In view of the foregoing:
· We urge you to side with the Iranian people by walking out of the General Assembly when Mr. Ahmadinejad takes the podium. The people of Iran are watching.
· We request you not to let the blood of our compatriots, who lost their lives for democracy and freedom, go in vain. Please tell the Iranian people that the world community is with them in their struggle for freedom and liberty.
· We ask you not to allow the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, this precious document which your nation is a signatory to, which gives every human being the right to pursue equality and dignity, be disgraced by your presence during Mr. Ahmadinejad’s speech.
The people of Iran deserve better!
